Built with commercial-grade components and designed with ease of operation and power efficiency in mind, the class 4/5 TerraStar combines best-in-class 80,000 PSI frame rails with a huck-bolted frame and an Allison 1000 transmission. An optional 4x4 configuration makes this truck tough enough for operation on a varied terrain, and the tilt-away hood makes engine maintenance easy.

The MaxxForce^® 7 Diesel Engine

The TerraStar is powered by the MaxxForce 7 engine. The cylinder block of this 300 horsepower V8 is made of graphite iron, making it sturdier and lighter than engines made from grey iron. Capable of delivering 600 ft. lbs. of torque, the TerraStar's MaxxForce 7 supplies the power you need to get the job done.
